The Small Print
As a professional training establishment offering the highest standards in industry and education, we have to have some 'small print'. However, we have tried to keep it a simple as possible.
Red Barn Training qualifications in any given treatment area enable you to obtain professional insurance and perform that treatment on fee-paying clients, so we hope you'll appreciate why we want to keep our standards high!
Booking, payments and refunds: Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated on the booking form. This is non-refundable. However, if the originally booked date becomes unsuitable for you, we will try to offer you an alternative date provided you give us 7 days notice. Failure to arrive for a booked training course will not result in refund.
Course fees: are correct at the time of publication. However, we reserve the right to alter these at any time without prior notification.
Registration and training times: Unless special arrangements are agreed at the time of booking, course registration is at 9.30am on the first day of training and the course will run from 10am to 4pm, with subsequent training days running from 10am to 4pm. Half-day course registration is at 9.30am with training running from 10.00am to 1.30pm.
Follow-up assessments: Some courses require compulsory periods of private practice outside of the classroom to develop skills and are followed by a final assessment, which is included in the course price. If you fail to demonstrate that you have an adequate level of competency you will fail the course and will not be entitled to a refund. You may be permitted to re-sit the assessment at the discretion of the tutor, subject to a re-sit fee.
Models: Where models are required you must ensure they are over 18 years of age and they complete a full consultation prior to any treatment. Where courses require other students to work on you as a model, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have no contra indications to the procedure taking place.
Privacy: Red Barn Training is committed to preserving client privacy but may use your details for administrative purposes to let you know about products or service that may be of interest.
Course availability and completion: All courses are subject to availability and certificates of attainment will be issued only upon satisfactory completion of the course. Certificates will sent by post within 30 days of satisfactory completion at the latest.
Conduct, drugs and alcohol: Red Barn Training reserves the right to reject you from a training course without refund in where students behave inappropriately or where there is reasonable suspicion that students may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
